I'm a 30-something person who gets a huge kick out of KGUD. The DJ is sublimely funny and incredibly generous in the inobtrusive way he plays lovely music without annoying commercials, announcements, etc. I once heard him say "KGUD is sponsored by Comcast. That's your pledge drive. You're welcome."Funny guy!

With so much of radio just noise and seemingly endless commercials, this station is a breath of fresh air. It is non commercial and they don't do long-winded fund raising. The music is characterized as easy listening and includes many big orchestrations. The format is generally instrumental with only three or vocals in an hour. Give this station a try if you're in the listening area; I think you'll love it
