I have been renting a property from them for years and I have to say that they have gone way downhill as far as service to their tenants in the past few years. They don’t allow over the phone requests for maintenance anymore so I often have to wait until I get home to make them online. I used to be a homeowner with a management company and I appreciated when we had good tenants. I can say with all certainty that they do not appreciate their good tenants. We’ve taken great care of the property, pay our rent on time and are good friends with all of our neighbors. But that means nothing to Ernst and Haas- they act like we should be lucky to rent from them. Our AC went out during a recent heatwave leaving inside temps over 90 degrees and we were told that it wasn’t life threatening so they didn’t get anyone out for 3 days to look at it, and then repairs had to wait for approval. When I asked for consideration for compensation for having to board my dog due to excessive heat in the house I was told since it wasn’t life threatening there was no accommodations available. Like I said before, I have been a homeowner with renters and the management company we used always allowed rent compensation whenever we had a maintenance issue that impacted the tenants directly. The fact that they don’t treat their tenants that they manage well speaks volumes.

Tying to find a new apartment was getting so frustrating and overwhelming. That is, until I found Jeannine at Ernst & Haas. Jeannine was so helpful and responsive with every question and concern I had throughout the entire process of finding my apartment. I love my new place! Thank goodness for Jeannine or I would still be looking!

We are very pleased with our Property Supervisor, Angie. She is easy to work with and very responsive to any questions we have.

Jenny has been a pleasure to deal with and has handled our requests in a timely and professional manner.

Angie is my go to person regarding my rental property. She's always prompt with returning communication, friendly and takes care of business with the tenants directly, so I can remain hands off. My tenants seem happy as well. David Hass was my initial contact and helped point out things I should repair/fix up prior to renting and has always been able to answer my various questions over the years, so appreciative of the guidance and suggestions. Glad I took a chance to let property management handle the majority of the responsibility when I don't have clue. This team effort more than exceeds my expectations.

Ernst and Haas has managed our rental properties for quite some time. Jeannette, our property manager, is very professional, knowledgeable, a fabulous trouble shooter, and all around problem solver. Our rentals have gone smoothly and rental income at or above market value. Wouldn't think of using anyone else!!
