I have over 31 years experience and have been a fully licensed Tile Contractor for over 24 years. I have focused on the Grout Restoration and Tile Repair for the past 8 years. Leaving the existing tile in place, I clean it and replace any broken or severely damaged tiles that can be replaced. I can then (depending on the type of grout in place) remove the grout completely and replace it with any color grout you wish. This new grout is mixed with an acrylic hardener rather than water so that you never have to worry about applying a topical sealant; it is mixed within the grout itself! This allows it to dry faster and harder than if mixed with water, allowing you to be back on the surface or in your shower the following morning rather than having to wait days. The acrylic base also makes it much more mold and stain resistant and keeps your tile surfaces beautiful for years to come! Sanded grout can not be fully removed. What I can do is repair this grout with a color match to your existing grout. For these applications I use the same grout mixing technique as above. If you wish to match the grout to one uniform color or change the color of the grout completely, I recommend you¿re staining the whole surface to one uniform color of your choice. This technique also seals the entire surface of the grout as well. The methods I use are tried and true. I have been using them for decades without fail.
