NOT WORTH IT! STAY FAR AWAY!

I wish I could rate this at 0. The management is not trained properly to deal with people in a civilized manner. I have come in with simple questions and they talk over me instead of answering. They've called me rude for having a suggestion. We are low income housing, but they'll charge you without warning. A lot of us can't afford $20 fees every week if we don't have our weeds pulled, or $7 per week if we don't own a lawn mower.

They have evicted people for "having too much stuff", even though everything was in compliance according to their rules. They have also evicted people over dusty floor boards. They'll threaten to evict you if you have a box in not quite the right spot in the garage.

They do inspections about every 3 months. They send out a "cleaning checklist" to make sure you're in compliance. That "cleaning checklist" is the move-out checklist. They expect everything to be pristine when they come and look at your unit. That's simply not possible if people are living in it.

They also do "random" inspections, where they choose the most vulnerable tenants to inspect. They choose people that have just moved in, so they'll probably be living out of boxes still. They choose people who are pregnant who who just miscarried. When tenants have tried to explain their situation and why things might not be up to par, they just say "the rules are the rules. if you can't keep up with it, hire someone to do it for you." Again, we're low income. That's not feasible for many of us.

They have no compassion for the tenants. One tenant lost her husband overnight. Because of his death, she lost nearly all her income. She was also disabled. Because she was unable to keep up on the yard work, and she couldn't afford to pay them to do it, they evicted her.

When you go to move out and give your 30 days, it doesn't actually end up being only 30 days. If you give your 30 days on, say, the 5th of the month, they don't prorate and only charge you the 5 days you're in the unit. They charge you for the entire month that those 5 days are in. So it ends up being almost a full month that you have to pay for, even though you're not living in the unit, and they've already gotten someone else to fill it.

These are nice units. But it is not worth it to pay a little less for this awful management. I'd much rather pay 2-300 more for a run-down 2 bed/1 bath than deal with The Springs. Do not be fooled by their nice pictures and low prices. NOT WORTH IT! STAY FAR AWAY!
