They make a lot of offers, but as soon as you sign the contract, they begin to use cheap tactics and sleezy excuses to get out of the contract and leave you out to dry. I traded in my car in order to purchase one of theirs one evening after the banks had closed. Their loan shark assured me that according to my credit report, I would easily fall within the guidelines to be approved with such a rate that my monthly payment would be a certain amount that we had agreed upon. The following business day the loan began to look for a bank that would approve a loan for me. I am a college student and while my credit score is great, my debt-to-income ratio is less than satisfactory. When they couldn't approve a loan with an interest rate and a monthly payment that both parties had previously signed on, the gutless loan shark called me and told me that he's sorry but the only way that I was going to be able to keep the car was by agreeing to pay a higher monthly payment. He was so gutless that he left this information on my voicemail. He didn't even have the character and personal integrity to deliver this extremely pertinent information to me over the phone. I called him and asked why he wasn't able to get me approved and he started giving me pitiful excuses. He said that I my monthly payment wasn't going to increase by a lot and so he needed me to just get down there ASAP to sign the new terms of the loan, a new contract. I frankly told him that if he wasn't able to uphold his obligations to the contract, then I would just bring the new car back to him and he could just give me my old car back and we can both walk away. Here he began to yell and be very belligerent with me. I asked him why he was getting so upset and contentious and he just kept going on and on, trying to intimidate me. He said that I had signed a contract and that there was no way that I was going to get out of it. He said that if I were to try to bring the new care back then it would be impounded because I couldn't just leave a vehicle anywhere I pleased. This is where is gets amusing. I told him that the first contract that both parties signed had been rescinded and was no longer valid. He became even more upset and started yelling again. After he calmed a few minutes later, I told him again that the original contract that both parties was signed, hence the reason that he was asking me to sign a NEW contract with NEW terms and conditions. He went silent for several seconds. He knew that he had just been caught in a lie. It's one thing for a child to be caught in a lie as they are learning that it is not honest to lie. But, it is really a disgrace and completely self-defeating for a grown adult to be caught in a lie. He just stuttered awkwardly for several seconds. Then he started yelling again. A couple more minutes went by and he calmed down enough to have an adult conversation. He said remorsefully that the only way that he was going to be able to meet the terms that he had signed to on the original contract was to lower the price of the vehicle. On that note we both agreed that we would finish the conversation on the following day. I eventually accepted a payment for just a few more dollars per month because I really like the vehicle. I would advise everyone to stay away from this dealership. They have to do some things right to stay in business and I'd imagine that there are a good amount of satisfied customers out there. But after my experience with them, and looking at reviews all over the net, I am convinced that they are exactly what the reviews say they are, criminals. DO NOT BUY YOUR VEHICLE FROM THEM!!! By the way, Andy left the partnership some time ago, but Nate has decided not to change the name as this would be too costly. I don't know why Andy left, but I know that I would not feel honest as a business partner to a lousy, deceitful, and shameful person like Nate.
