I managed to embed myself in a ditch during a snow storm, the trooper that showed up said that I needed to get a tow ASAP. She suggested Blystones or Bill's. Both of those companies are reliable, but totally overpriced! Shell is the only business that charges a fair amount for the service. Friendly driver, fast to arrive, and willing to drop off where needed. Best place to call for a tow in the area.

They were confident they could find out what was wrong with my truck and fix it - turned out they couldn't but still charged me over $300. I even gave them a list of things to check that I found online. I took it to a Ford garage and they found the bad fuel regulator in a few hours, which was one of the things that I asked them to check. The Ford garage has a policy that if they can't fix it, you don't pay - I like that. I asked the counter guy at Shell, Dale, for a discount since the truck didn't run any better than when I took it in and he told me possibly if I bring in the receipt from the garage that fixes it. I did and no refund. Don't take anything very complicated to Lodi Shell. They'll keep you vehicle for weeks but won't be able to fix it. They suggest to do a trial and error new parts replacement and it will cost you. They wanted to start with my computer ($400) and/or my injectors ($1000) and it turned out to be neither of those parts.
