When the temperature reached triple digits, I decided it was time to turn on my air conditioner. Unfortunately, this time it didn't work and instead of cooling the house, it circulated the hot air and the temperature rose even higher. After suffering in 90 degree heat all night with another hot day to go, I didn't want to go through it again.



I called another company but they wouldn't be able to come out until 2 days later. Desperate not to endure another heat wave today, I called Bartel Air because of the recommendations I saw here. Kip said he could fit me in this morning in about an hour and a half. I was estatic! He was right on time and checked everything inside and out. He took the time to explain things so that even I could understand. Kip was professional, courteous and friendly. He didn't take advantage of someone who wouldn't know any better and I've had the unfortunate experience of that before.



Kip runs his company with integrity and honesty which I can't praise enough. I would highly recommend Bartel Air to anyone. Thank you Kip!

It's not very often that I find myself writing positive reviews on service companies, but I'm so pleasantly surprised by my experience that I wanted to share.



As luck would have it, my heater decided to die on me unexpectedly when my husband was away on a business trip. I have two small children who aren't so good at being "bundled up," so I needed someone who could help me immediately. I called two other companies before calling Bartel Air, but couldn't wait the 3-4 days they told me it would take before they could get to my house.



When I called Bartel Air, they were incredibly polite and professional on the phone and were able to send out someone late that very afternoon. Thank goodness!



I'm not terribly savvy when it comes to home appliances but Kip explained what happened and described all of my options very clearly (and without making me feel like the clueless person I really was). =) I ended up going with an energy efficient model and feel like I got a great deal -- both on the price of the unit and on his service. And of course, the idea of a lower energy bill in the future doesn't hurt, either!



All in all, I wish I could give this company 6 stars, not just 5. Their timely response saved me from having to deal with a freezing house and two cold little kids. Awesome service!!

Once in a while you encounter service and quality so above the rest, you are compelled to write about it! Such was my experience with the owner and technicians from Bartel Air, when I recently had to purchase a heating unit for my rather large, older house. Kip showed me how much I would save by installing a more energy efficient unit than was in the home previously, and I feel really good about doing my part for the environment and saving so much money at the same time! Their response to my phone call was immediate, and I was very grateful, since it was right at the start of the recent cold snap. My new furnace is keeping me warm and cozy, and I am not afraid of opening my next energy bill. All I can say is thanks so much, to Kip Bartel all the staff at Bartel Air, for the excellent service you provided!

When our old furnace recently konked out, we were actually glad to be able to finally install a new one that was modern and energy efficient. We called Bartel Air on the recommendation of our neighbors, and were so impressed with the information provided us, to help us make the best decision on which high-efficiency unit was the best value for both our budget and our needs. The owner met with us to help us assess our requirements, and for the first time in a long time, we felt listened to. He came by again, after the installation, to check on things and make sure we were completely satisfied with every aspect. It has been ages since we have experienced that level of service from anyone!

We moved into a new house which needed a new furnace and AC. Bartel Air was professional and did quality work at a good price. The crew was very nice, clean, arrived on time each day. Kip was also very nice. He gave us all the information needed to make a good decision on what units to get. We ended up getting a high efficiency unit and I have to say I love my PG&E bill each month!! I have recommended them to many friends.
