Raven on the Rock on VRDO, airs Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday evenings from 6 pm to 8 pm MTN time. My syndicated show in Nashville airs Sundays at 4 pm MTN on Rock Rage Radio. Colorado local musicians are showcased with a segment, Raven's Eye on Global Talent featuring a local song from around the county or around the world. Guest Host musicians and venue owners are part of the show. Raven is the founder of The Rock Awards which is to honor musical achievements and support and grow the Colorado music community. To bring awareness to the public and the World of the special music family that resides in our beautiful state. The Rock Awards was envisioned in 2011 after Raven on the Rock local radio launched. Raven learned of the talented musicians in Colorado and was determined to grow the music scene. The Grammy Awards and the Peoples Choice Awards were combined to create The Rock Awards. The original dream was for Rockin Raven Productions to pay for awards to show the musicians appreciation for what they put into their music. Four years of planning have gone into The Rock Awards. When the nominations were launched on February 24, 2015 the response was overwhelming. The Rock Awards will be held every third Sunday of May starting May 22, 2016 and have moved from a local VFW to The Magness Arena @ DU. It will be Colorado’s Premier Black Tie event, Red Carpet included.
