This is a case of buyer beware. Here are some of my experiences while being treated by Lorna Silva. Keep in mind Lorna is not a Nutritionist as I first thought but a CNHP, (Certified Natural Health Professional). I found that you can receive this title in as little as 8 days. I have some pretty serious health problems so I was quite desperate when I decided to go to her. I was also super hopeful since modern medicine isn’t doing enough for me. I was willing to try anything. Lorna took a picture of my iris, looked at my tongue and nails and asked me some questions as well as looked over my medical history and urine PH. Then we get on to the big parlor trick. The Zyto Scam..er I mean scan. This is a device that you put your hand on, it is hooked to a computer. She then types something into the computer, a supplement, food, herb or whatever. The computer supposedly asks your body if that is good for your body or not. Sadly, very few things were good for my body. I was “diagnosed” as having mold allergies, Candidiasis, grass allergies, leaky gut, among other things. I was put on a diet of very little. I was told I should no longer eat: yeast, wheat, sugar, alcohol, caffeine, dairy, grains, mushrooms, soy, most fruits or vinegar. Ok… I am desperate, I can do this!! She also put me on a bunch of supplements that she sells. I followed it all. By.The. Book. At the end of 5 weeks, I couldn’t stay warm, I had bruises that wouldn’t heal, was tired all of the time and my hair had started to fall out. Great. I also at one point decreased my dose of a supplement because I had diarrhea for 5 days straight. Though I was told by her that that was GOOD because that meant my body was doing a cleanse.

I went back to her at 5 weeks, was hooked up to Zyto again and was told that I had to give up even more food! Also the supplements I was taking were no longer “good for my body” and I needed new ones. I bought a few and left quite discouraged. Here is the really alarming thing. I have begun doing my own research and am a label reader. I was reading the label for a vitamin she sold me. Here is the warning on the label. “WARNING: If pregnant, or planning pregnancy daily vitamin A intake should not exceed 5,000 IU. Quantities in excess of 10,000 IU may result in reproductive hazards or birth defects……” I was instructed by Lorna to take one of these tablets with each meal. That’s right folks, I was instructed to take 30,000 IU of this vitamin! Had I not read this, who knows what could have happened! I am of child bearing age and Lorna at no point asked me if I was done having children. Thankfully I read the label!

According to that Zyto machine, my grass allergies are off the chart. I feel fine. Zero sneezing, stuffiness or anything at all. Also, my gallbladder showed up on the test and is in a normal healthy range. Funny since I haven’t had a gall bladder since 2001.

The good news is this: I am now a stringent label reader. I have started to reconsider everything I eat and I am moving my family away from packaged foods. I also lost 13 lbs with the above experiment. I am going to stay gluten free because I think I do feel better not eating gluten. However, if you are desperate and you want to give this a try. By all means go for it. But please be careful! Do your own research and read everything! I am really worried she will seriously hurt someone. I for one hope it is the last time I ever fall for anything so expensive and ridiculous.
