The company was founded in 1939 as a feed and fertilizer supplier, but the company has been specializing in the agricultural equipment field for more than the past 30 years. Its workforce of approximately 70 people is provides agricultural equipment supplies and services throughout eastern Pennsylvania and the surrounding area. Binkley & Hurst operates a parts department that is open from at least 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, including extended hours in the spring season. The company is also open on Saturdays. Binkley & Hurst is also a provider of Outback Toys, a line of farming equipment toys for children.
