Shades of glory was contracted out to cater our event. They did not answer the phone hours before the event and was TWO HOURS LATE. We had to go out and BUY food for our guests b/c they were so hungry! When they finally arrived they struggled to set up the food, much of the food was bland and tasteless. The pasta was dry and over cooked! It was so bad that we had almost an entire pan left! Furthermore they did not even bring all the items that we ordered for the menu, they went to Kroger (3hours after the event started and after most of the food was gone except for the nasty pasta) and bought fruit trays calling it a fruit salad. They only have children servers and my patrons had to serve themselves. The cake was hard and dry, it tasted like a box cake but looked prettier. They did provide cutting service or anything to cut the cake with. The worst part is when we tried to professionally resolve the issue after the event, they told us they would not refund any of our money and tried to make it our fault. They claimed they would refund the money that we spent buying the food but they did not! DO NOT WORK WITH SHADES OF GLORY, the only thing that is shades about them are their SHADY BUSINESS! They are not LINCESE OR INSURED! They do not have a business License!
