I called Gerry for an estimate and he came out the same day. I found him to be honest and to the point. He told me up front that he wouldn't be the cheapest or the most expensive bid, but that I would like the work. We took a brief tour of the front yard and he shot some ideas and prices at me. I was impressed enough that I hired him on the spot. His crew was here the next week as promised and he had everything staged and ready to go. Our neighborhood was having road work done, and Gerry was out there in the morning positioning all his trucks and moving them when and where needed. All the equipment, manpower, and raw materials to complete the job were there and waiting in the morning. I have a one acre lot and they finished the front yard in a day. I have a very large Spruce tree that I thought would need to be cut down because it partially blocked my driveway and sidewalk. Gerry loved the tree and felt he could trim it enough to keep it there. I was skeptical, but he proved me wrong. The tree looks beautiful now and doesn't block anything. I really didn't think it could be saved. I asked him for advice on the back yard and the pool area, and he gave me more ideas and a quote in less than an hour. I was impressed enough with his pricing and quality of his work so far that I hired him for the back yard. He was back a couple of days later and again, everything was staged in the morning and ready to go.. The back yard took two more days. At the end of each day, they cleaned up all the trash and put away all their equipment before they left. Very professional. The crew worked hard and Gerry was right there supervising and working with them. Gerry's in his 70's, and I doubt many would be able to keep pace with him at any age. Some of his workers have been with him for quite a few years, even decades. And they sure know how to lay a patio. I couldn't be happier with the work. And I'm pleased with the pricing. I absolutely recommend Gerry if you need professional landscaping. He's certainly done right by me, and I'll be calling him again to have more work done. He's been in the business a long time, and the quality and professionalism of his work reflect this.

I just looked up gerrys to call him to do some work and saw his reviews. Gerry is not a rich person he works with his crew every day. He has been doing work for me for years and i am always happy with his service and price. He also does work for my children and friends of mine. I give him 5 stars.

I have been using Gerrys Landscaping for twenty years at my home and business and have always had great results, very professional, always on time, and never any problems. A triple A company.

Gerry himself is a dynamo-70+,could pass for 50+,holds Guiness World record for deadlift,still races cars,like Paul Newman did,owns the track and a condo in Trump Tower,spends winter in Florida,and when he says he will do the best patio,he delivers...great sense of humor and all around quality guy who helps the community with DARE,etc

Like my Dad, he does not suffer fools gladly,his passion for excellence in his personal life shows in his product[my dad was a surgeon]

Stay away. Doesn't deserve your business. Besides,he's already rich, he bought a Rolls-Royce - he actually told me that! I called for an estimate, he called me back and said "he didn't want to offend me", but he'd had 50 calls today and can't come to everyone's house to give estimates. Wanted to know if I called other landscapers, and sounded like he didn't want to compete with anyone. Wow. Never knew work came so easy to him...especially with that kind of attitude. I said that if he wasn't interested in my money, goodbye. He actually called me back ( I didn't answer) and carried on about the Rolls-Royce on my voice mail! He's so busy he can't be bothered with my estimate to get work for his company, but has the time to mess with me on the phone ! Seriously, I couldn't make up this stuff. What I wonder is why the guy even has an ad in the phone book? He doesn't need the business, so you should stay the heck away. I couldn't imagine what he'd do if you had a disagreement with him and his work..

Called and left a message to get an estimate on mulch, retaining wall, and shrubs. Whoever it was called me back in about 30 minutes. Wasn't able to answer the phone because of my child. He left me a message basically stating when I call back to make sure I leave a time when someone will pick up the phone this time. Also with attitude that he can't return calls just to get an answering machine. Made up my mind very easily about being a potential new customer. If his attitude about returning calls directly reflects his work Im scared to see what that would be like too.



Update: Called me back saying he didn't like my attitude about finding someone else. Told me it sounds like I was looking for a low ball price and to find someone else and don't ever call him again. Low ball pricing??? He was the first person I called and asked for an estimate. The only message I left was I was sorry to inconveince him to have to leave a voice message since I couldn't get to the phone and I'll be calling someone else. This time I left another message saying nice way to get a potential new customer and I'll be writing a nice review.



Update: Called me back, starting swearing at me right off, calling me names and everything else you can imagine. All started because I wasn't able to answer the first time he called me back. If you hire this jerk......good luck to you !!!!

Excellent, the work I had done is great. Very professional!!! Co. Came when they said the would. Preformed work as agreed. When they left my job, everything was perfect.
