My 2006 car had a transmission rebuilt in it by John and Sue at Ability Transmissions In Sept 2016 and it had a couple shifting problems along the way but recently i was driving home from work and the transmission failed I had to get the car towed to Ability. John seemed to be upset with me had a bad demina kinda scared me. He fixed the car again under warranty but charged me 300.00 for a valve body i said no way you told me you put a shift improver in it the first time. Why should i be charged again?

Johns a jerk and Sue is a carn artist we brought our car in for a service on my transmission because it was hesetating when I pressed on the gas. The car is 10 years old and in very good shape. John told me that my transmission was slipping and it was in need of a rebuild. The transmission was rebuilt a year ago by another shop so I declined the work from John at ability transmission he got so upset i thought he was going to hit me. I then brought it to a friend Walter at the other shop I was there for 15 minuets the fuel filter was clogged. John is a crook and I will never give him a stitch of work on any of my cars again.

Can't say enough about how pleased I am with this shop. Besides the fact on how nice Sue and John are at Ability Transmissions, John is easily the best Transmission guy on the island. I previously went to another shop that botched EVERYTHING up, but thanks to John, all was taken care of the RIGHT WAY. My only regret about this shop is I did not come here first. My truck is driving fantastic and could not be happier! And I had it back in 3 days..Now when I'm snow plowing, I can be 100% confident that my truck is ready..They have me as a customer for life! .. Absolutely Outstanding Workmanship!..
