I kindly asked for help in finding a wheel cover as they did when I bought the vehicle.(I would of course pay for it) I thought maybe they had more resources than I do.. this was the reply:
"We are not a parts store. We sell used cars.. Good luck."
I thought that was horribly rude and I let them know that! The response I got:
"We sold you the vehicle over 2 years ago, and you are still unhappy. Please stop contacting us. We wish you the best of luck in whatever you choose to do. Have a nice day."

It has only been just at a year and a half! I mentioned that I was selling my current vehicle... way to get me to give great reviews and come back for a repeat purchase!

Mike at Winners Circle sold my daughter a 12-year old car with just under 150,000 miles on it that, with interest, costs over $10,000. At three times the Kelly Blue Book value, it came equipped with a significant hole in the exhaust system, dangerously worn tires and no interior lights. It gets better - a mechanic checked to see why it wasn't starting and discovered he couldn't get the oil level to even register. The spark plugs are fried. The "new" battery wouldn't hold a charge and the check engine light revealed six different engine sensors were out. This is all we know so far, except for the transmission. It doesn't shift right.

My daughter was, in no way, capable of understanding the details of this sale. She should have known better, right? But sadly, my daughter has suffered with behavioral health problems her whole life. One of the ways it manifests is learning to live with little or no impulse control. She had no clue that she committed to paying that much for a car. She doesn't know what interest is or how it works. I am in no way capable of taking on this debt, I barely get by as it is. And my daughter most assuredly does not deserve to start her adult life with a debt she cannot handle, not to mention a junk car to show for it.

How can this be legal? They flat refused to do anything except resell the car. In fact, Mike, her "salesman" took her alone to a back room and intimidated and threatened her. It scared the hell out of her and now she is afraid to go back. Shame on Winners Circle. Shame on them.

This is just wrong. I need help and direction in order to protect and advocate for my daughter as well as exposing the shameful practice of taking advantage of our vulnerable folks right here in Lincoln.
