Provided by YPmobileWas referred to Neurology Associates and it was horrible. I was rudely treated by the doctor and did not receive proper treatment. Left in tears and pain.

Provided by YP.comDr. Bobenhouse was my son's Dr when he was transported from Mary Lanning Hospital in Hastings, NE last year (June 2011) from having over 35 back to back seizures that put him in a coma on life support. After several days in a coma, he woke up He put him on a different drug than any other Dr has tried before and it really made a huge difference in my son's seizures. He has seizures because when he was 12 yrs old he had brain surgery due to the rupturing of an AVM (arteriorvascularmalformation) that was a congenital birth defect we never knew he even had until that fateful day that it ruptured and nearly killed him. We are happy that what we thought would kill him has not taken him yet. He has been in a total of 4 comas that required life support but He has managed to survive them all with proper treatment. My son will be 31 years old the 23rd of this month (Oct.2012). I am grateful for the care we have gotten from Dr Bobenhouse and his Associates. I would reccomend this group to anyone who needs the help of Neurologists and their Group. I am planning to make an appointment with them for my own health. If he can help my son, hopefully he can help me also.

Provided by YPmobile"Referral Guidelines for seizure disorders have been established by the NAEC. Delayed or denied referral may be detrimental to the patient’s health, safety and quality of life.
If your seizures have not been brought under control after three months of care by a primary care provider (family physician, pediatrician), further neurologic intervention by a neurologist, or an epilepsy center if locally available, is appropriate.
If you are seeing a general neurologist, and your seizures have not been brought under control after 12 months, you should insist upon a referral to a specialized epilepsy center with an epileptologist"
How many patients have you swept under the rug over the years, and forgotten about because you "GAVE UP" on them trying to get their seizures under control instead of referring them on to a Epileptologist?
I know of one .... Me. After playing your pathetic games for over ten years, to the point you even quit requesting lab work on a regular basis. I had to refeer my self to an epileptologist, not once were those options put on the table while i was undr your care. Which clearly told me where your priorities were, and it sure didn't have anything to do with providing the best possible care for your patients.
You people are a complete disgrace to everyone in the neurological practice.
My advice to anyone whom reads this ....... Especially those with epilepsy, steer clear of Neurology Associates.
