Let me tell you about my 3 month experience living at the Dorchester House. On the surface it seems like a good place to live, especially if you only visit for a few hours. If you lived there and saw what goes on you would be shocked. First, because of incompetence, the Dorchester house is losing allot of money. Instead of getting qualified management to turn things around they continue to use the same buffoons that have driven it into the ground. To save money they have cut corners everywhere. The food is a joke. No matter how much you complain nothing changes. The only residents that eat there, have to. All the social activities have been cut out. Reason? Not in the budget. Anyone that has the means has moved out, only the poor elderly are left because they have no choice. Their policy is quite simple " pay your rent, be quiet, or get out.”
