Never go to rainbow muffler in lima my girlfriends car blew one brake line the other night she took it there because she was within a half a mile of their location they told her to replace two brake lines front to back on her car at about $300 having no control over her bringing her car out to my shop she agreed to have it fixed I was furious when I found out the cost I have 50 foot nickel copper brake line at my shop currently enough to do about 2 complete brake line jobs all four brake lines that brake line cost me less than $50 and it�s the newest highest quality brake line currently on the market and a Pontiac is marked on the ABS pump what brake line goes where LF for a left front or rr four right rear etc. it is very simple and very easy to replace brake lines on any GM vehicle if I were to look up book time on two brake line replacement it will show less than an hour to completely replace the line and bleed those two lines So less than 50 for the wine +50 an hour for labor would have cost her less than $100 after-tax but somehow this well-known a stab list busines so less than 50 for the line +50 an hour for labor would have cost her less than $100 after tax but somehow they get 300 must have beem gold plated lines

This is a one star auto garage all the way. If you have pride in your vehicle, go somewhere else. I am new to Lima and decided to try this place out. It was the most rude service I've ever received and the entire situation was sketchy. If they treat their customers like dirt, how do you think they're gonna treat your car?? The prices are low, and you typically get what you pay for...enough said about that. Seriously consider going somewhere else.

I went there 3 times for the same problem and they never fixed the problem they wanted more and more money they suck u want a good place to go to go to US muffler&breaks they are clean and friendly rainbow muffler have dirty perverts

very friendly straight forward people.got cheated by us muffler and brake they fixed their mess and did it for a third of their price.

In a recent Lubricants World Magazine interview the president of a major national quick lube chain (which is owned by a major petroleum oil company) states that if they can get customers to shorten their drain intervals by 100 miles it would mean an additional $20 million in revenue for the company per year and if they can get consumers to do one more oil change per year it would mean $294 million for the oil change alone and $441 million in revenue when they include ancillary products and services that go along with the oil change. In fact, the president of the quick lube chain openly admits that the bottom line is profits. The shorter the drain interval the more money the quick lube makes. It is our opinion that they would be more profitable by promoting and installing AMSOIL 25,000 mile/1-year or 35,000 mile/1-year extended drain interval synthetic oil. It appears that the short drain interval petroleum oils they promote are good at assuring that customers will be back for another

Every time I go in there for anything its really quick and they do a great job and never change their prices for anything when I call no matter how long I wait afterwords

I CALLED EXACTLY 2 WEEKS AGO GOT A PRICE ON HOW MUCH IT WOULD COST TO HAVE A INTERMEDIATE PART OF THE EXHAUST ON A 95 FORD PROBE AND I WAS TOLD IT WOULD BE 20.0 THEN I SENT MY SON OVER AND TODAY 2 WEEKS LATER THEY CHARGED HIM $60.00 HERE'S HOW THEY THINK THEY CAN CHARGE 4 BOLTS 15.00 SOME KIND OF HI TEMP SEALER WHEN I BOUGHT THE PART I WAS TOLD U DONT' NEED A SEALER IT WOULD JUST BURN OFF AND STINK THEY DONT RECOMMEND IT AT ALL ANY WAY THAT WAS 5.00 THEN 40.00 OH YEAH BECAUSE THEY HAD TO PUT IT ON AND ALL THIS TOOK 22 MIN TOTAL AND THEY SUPPOSEDLY CHARGE ONLY 60-70 PER HOURS SO AT 22 IN DRIVE IN AND OUT TOTAL TIME $3.18 PER MIN AND THIS WAS A RIP OFF HOW THEY WENT FROM 20.00 TO 60.00 IN 2 WEEKS IS BEYOND ME AND THEN GET UPSET BECAUSE I QUESTIONED THE BILLING PRACITCES THEY HAD PROB. TRYING TO BREAK IT DOWN FOR ME

Just had the brakes worked on. They did not put my four wheel drive hubs back on correctly, left parts off of one side of the caliber, never released the parking brake for the rear brakes (step one for changing any brakes), charged for lube they never put on and claimed did not exist, and the results of this job left hotspots on my new pads. Had to take to QuickStop on findley rd. to fix. After the other shop took pictures of the problems Rainbow Muffler created, I took the evidence back to them. They still said they did the job right even with pictures. Very bad experience had to spend over a thousand dollars to fix the problems they only would reimberse me for a few hundred dollars and refused to have another shop do the work. Rainbow Muffler would not fix their mistake until I contacted a lawyer. Never would go there again I could have did the job and I am not a mechanic. They specifically told me one of their employeers always cause problems and has mistakes. Seemed like only one person there knew what they were doing as they had to help the others with every car, while I was sitting there watching. Some it up a bunch of backyard mechanics not worth the money. Another thing while I was there a lady had trouble with her brakes after a month of getting them done there and the owner told a customer that their muffler jobs are only good for three years, cause they rust through or fall apart.

They do a great job for me and I'm very satfied>
