Normally I don't write reviews but I was so upset with this business that I couldn't resist. I went to Red Nails Saturday, 4/20 because it was nearby and convenient. I hadn't had a pedicure in a really long time and decided to go in and get pampered for awhile. I picked out my nail color and sat down. I think it should be noted that the chairs are not comfortable and I've had warmer water and better jets in other salons. My biggest issue came when I was asked to pay. The ADVERTISED price for a pedicure was $23 and that's what I asked for. When the woman came to collect the money she charged me $30. I said, the advertised price is $23. She didn't speak English so found someone else to talk to me. The woman who translated said that I was offered the hot towel treatment and agreed to it by saying "okay". I became extremely frustrated at this point because I never agreed to an additional $7 service and felt they were being extremely dishonest. After at least two additional women wandered over trying to coax me into the $30 and me refusing to be SCAMMED I was charged the advertised price of $23. A girl who overheard the fuss approached me later and said that she was charged $52 for a service she believed to only cost $40. I was not the only one being overcharged that day. I realize that sometimes the customer can be wrong but I stood up for myself this time because I felt this was false advertising and they were totally putting words in my mouth. Suggestion to those who choose to go here anyway, tell them upfront what you're going to pay them. If they're advertising $23 pedicures, tell them you're paying $23 for a pedicure. Give them the money up front so they don't hassle you for more cash when you're trying to leave. This is a trashy, dishonest business and they should be shut down.
