Today we were banned from Portrait Innovations after waiting over an hour and half (after the time of our appointment) to get our Christmas pictures made. This is the 6th year we have done this and have never received such terrible service. They were going to "comp" an extra mug for our wait but then wanted to charge us the shipping for it. After telling the assistant manager he needed to talk to the manager to give us the price of the package without that shipping we were informed our package would be free but we were not welcome back. We have spent a lot of money at Portrait Innovations over the years and will never go back.

Bad experience

I was up sold on a package and tools I would get a hard back book. When I called later to find out when I would receive the book, I was told I didn't have one coming as my package didn't come with one. The manager said his staff would never be dishonest about what comes in packages. I'll never be returning to that store. Not worth the time, frustration or money.

I had my first experience with...

I had my first experience with Portrait Innovations recently and will have to say I was very pleased with the results and the experience. My 5 y/o Granddaughter wasn't the most cooperative that day, however, but they did manage to get some great shots and were patient with her and kept her laughing. My only negative comment(s) would be regarding the background choices. I was wearing a black top and had my picture made with my Granddaughter, and they first put us against a black background. With my hair being dark brown it faded into the black background as did my black top...not preferable to my taste - black on black - creating a "floating" face in the blackness. I was pleased with the pictures of me with my Granddaughter, however, they only suggested one pose for us and it was kindof "stiff" for a Granny and Granddaughter (her sitting - my hand on her shoulder) - wanted something more "close" and "snuggy" as Grannies and Granddaughters are, but other than that, I was very pleased. So hopefully they will go with my suggestions of a less "stiff" pose for Grannies and Granddaughters.
