I bought 2 new mopeds at Moped International a few years ago from Mr. Garrett Wilson, proprietor of Moped International. The selection of scooters was amazing to me, particularly since I had never owned one before. Mr. Wilson was so helpful to me in deciding which scooter would work best for me, & he even taught me how to ride it! Every spring he services my scooters. The customer service is unmatched by any business I've ever done business with. Knowledgeable, helpful, & always puts my best interests first. I'll never go anywhere else for scooters, accessories, or service.

I purchased a brand new Chinese Roketta 49 cc. moped from Dan's Pawn Shop in Lexington a few months ago. He offered ZERO warranty on it. That was my first mistake. A friend highly recommended I take it over to Moped International on Versailles Rd, for the standard 1st 500 mile service. Garrett, the owner basically told me these bikes were a piece of s***. I thought he was just trying to upsell me on one of his mopeds, but it turns out he really was giving me some friendly advice. Well, HE WAS RIGHT!! The engine blew at 1100 miles. OMG!! When the engine blew, I hauled it over there. Initially I turned down his offer to upgrade, but He told me that he would give me a "once in a lifetime deal" (his words, not mine) because he thought I was doing good works as a volunteer in a service related industry.
