Well, I have not been to the Addison location, however, the service at the Chaucer's in Lewisville is appalling! A group of us went there for casual drinks and dinner. However, I was the designated driver and 3/4 into our meal I wanted to switch to water. When I asked our server for a glass, he said no. Excuse me, no?!?! We had a tab of over $200 and they refused to serve the designated driver a glass of tap water?! We then asked for the manager, who reaffirmed that Chaucer's does not serve tap water, but $3 mini bottles are available for purchase. It apparently does not matter whether or not you are a paying customer. However, he had no problem providing me with a cup of ice!! Unbelievable. It amazes me that a place like this, that relies on getting people drunk and then profiting off of their basic human need for water, manages to stay in business. This explains why there are so many girls throwing up in the bathroom... they're being turned away when they need water th
