Love the Chickadee. They truly do have the bestfood in town, and best service. It is such a family orientated restaurant. I believe that is why they've been around so long. Such a classic. Must go if you come to Maine.

I have to say I went to the Chickadee restaurant last week with some out of town guests and had a wonderful time. My guests are very needy and the server was quite attentive to them. Not only did she accomadate them but she did it with a smile. Sometimes they are overwhelming but she handled them very professionally. When the food arrived I was very surprised. I got a seafood scampi and my husband ordered the fishermans platter. The scampi was very tasty and my husband was amazed at how much seafood was in his meal. He is a big eater and even he had to box it up. My guestsstarted off with a cup pf lobster stew and they were more than happy with the amount of lobster that was in there . It is almost a meal in itself. I want to commend the owner for a wonderful restaurant and th manager for training the staff to be so attentive and curteous to even the more difficult customer. My guest were more then pleased and I am more then willing to reccomend this restaurant to anyone. The prices are great!!
