I was told about Zany Graze at our hotel front desk when we inquired about a good place to eat. We were truly dissapointed. The food was ok (I'm actually amazed we waited for it to show up). We went on a Wednesday night the place was approximately half full. We assumed that we could eat and still have some time to look around, (ya know what assume leads to). It took over 35 minutes for us to be asked if we wanted a beverage, this was after we approached the manager and informed her of the long delay, we were glared at and told in a very smug voice someone will be right there. Now I was timing 12 minutes later we were asked what we wanted to drink, the drink showed up 8 minutes after that. We tried to order our food and were told thats not my job your waitress will be along shortly. Needless to say after 1 hour and 38 minutes my wife and I ate our dinner and went back to the motel. when we told the person behind the desk about the service she told us she has been hearing that a lot lately. Hmmmm guess you shouldn't refer customers to resturants you hear bad things about. If my wife and I are ever in Lewiston again we will not be returning to Zane Graze.

This restaurant has good food and quirky atmosphere, but the service is truly pathetic. We waited for over 20 minutes for our order to be taken, then the food was brought and we never saw our waitress again. No one ever checked on our meal or if we wanted anything else to drink. We sat near the big shoe closest to the street and there were 4 or 5 other tables around us wondering the same thing we were. Is anyone working here? We wrote a letter to the company that owns this restaurant and the manager blamed us for being impatient. Ok then we will take our business elsewhere, thank you very much.
