Was told that it would take 15 mins to get my covers loaded and waited for over an hour and a half. Was very unhappy with the customer service. Some of the employees are nice but horrible at customer service and time.

I was happy to find an installer that was less expensive than the original installer of my in-ground swimming pool. When I talked to the installer, he bragged about Garrett's quality and customer service. Within the first 10 months of installation, I noticed that the liner was wearing off of the steps (we have the liner over step installation in the pool). I notified the installer and Roger from Garrett Liners. A claim was started in June of 2012. Now, one year later, I notice that the liner is turning white around the main pool drain, as well as in the corners of the pool. Mark from Garrett Liners came to my home and inspected the pool. I was told by the installer that the cause for the liner patter being worn off of the steps was caused by my automatic pool cleaner. My automatic pool cleaner doesn't sprout legs and walk out of the water to get to the top step, so this claim is untrue. I fully intend to start legal action against Garrett if they do not honor their "wonderful warranty." Caveat emptor--Let the buyer beware!



Sadly, I chose this installation because of the cost savings compared to the estimate by Bob Goodall of Goodall Pools in Camp Hill, PA. If Garrett does honor their warranty, I will have to pay installation cost AGAIN and cost of water AGAIN, which will put the cost of this liner over Bob Goodall's estimate.



Lesson learned--you get what you pay for!! Not a happy camper--or swimmer at this point. Will Garrett honor their warranty? I will keep you posted--as of today. They are a 1 star rating.
