The staff is friendly. This is about the only positive thing I can say. I went here on the positive reviews I saw online. I should have listened to my initial instinct after viewing their extremely poor attempt at a website. The spa itself looks dumpy. There are sofas in two of the waiting areas and it looks like they found them on the curb for free and dragged them into the salon. The walls are unpleasant colors. The room the pedicures are done is small and claustrophobic, not to mention full of clutter. Plastic christmas flowers? Really? It was probably once a closet. Nothing about the look of the spa says "relaxing." On top of that the owner is a loud talker. I could hear her on the other side of the spa in the "closet" room with the door closed. Her young child was running around the spa screaming. I actually felt anxiety when I left. In fact, I couldn't wait to leave. The woman who gave me my pedicure was very nice, very quiet, but nice. However, her hands were cold and clammy like icicles. Why bother with the hot towel or hot water if you're just going to shock me with your cold hands? I was surprised to hear the spa has been there for 7 years and really surprised that other people had such positive things to say. I've been to really nice spas, but this is not one of them.

I have been to a number of salons in the past and have had good number of mess ups happen to my hair. For that reason I have been a bit shy about having my hair colored because of 1 or 2 major blunders the stylists have done. But I have known the own for a long time and she wanted me to try out her new girl. She gave high marks for her and I knew she wouldn't send me to someone she wouldn't use herself. After talking to her stylist I began to relax and let her do what she wanted after telling her what I was looking for. In all the years of ever having my hair colored I have never on the spot just said I loved it. Well let me tell you...I LOVE MY HAIR. She did exactly what she said she would but even better. The customer service here is amazing. They make you feel at home and ease your mind about the things you do. They keep you entertained as you get worked on and that helped the time pass by while you waited. I love this place and would recommend it to anyone and everyone looking for a good salon for hair, nails, tanning or whatever you could need in a salon. Everything you are looking for is found here and you will never find a friendlier or happier group of people as you do at this salon. A Touch Of Destiny, you have a customer for life.

I've been going to "A Touch of Destiny" for many years now. This place and the people who work there are addicting!!! Everyone is always so happy and they make you feel like part of their family. You can't help but look forward to your appointment, it's just like going to hang out with the girls. Normally going tanning or getting your nails done feels like a chore, but not here. It's such a laid back atmosphere and it's always fun. I recommend this place to everyone, IT'S THE BEST!!!!

Talk about customers come first! This place was great. I had a wedding to go to and i was driving down this back road and I noticed this Salon opened. It was about 8:45 pm and i REALLY wanted my nails done for the wedding. Turns out they close at 9:00 pm. So I was looking at this huge wall filled with polishes. There must have bein about 1000 polishes! This woman said I no were closing but I will stay and do your nails. Really!!! I coudnt thank her enough, So she grabbed this box and it had a brand new Buffer, Nail File, and Scrub Brush and said This will be your personal box its just more sanitary. She wrote my name and a number on it. Well she started doing my nails no electric drill, conversation, didnt cut me, she did this amazing nail art by hand, she had me laughn so hard I almost peed my pants. The best part about this Day Spa is its elagant, they have everything, and the Staff is always happy. It doesnt smell like acrylic, Its clean, you feel like your at home! Im so glad i drove by that nite. I now have great nails, my hair is perfect, and for the first time im tanning. Its pretty cool and im Dark! My next thing is a full body massage or a pedicure the pedicure chair massages your back and its in a private room so I dont feel like a weirdo out in the open. Everything is so private and personal. I LOVE IT!!! Thank to all the girls at A Touch of Destiny Day Spa.
