I love attending these auctions very entertaining and good crowds! 000000000000000000000000000000000000

Never attend one of their auctions and if you have items, especially an entire estate do not use this auction company.

The auctioneers play favorites which is extremely unethical.

My wife and I own two businesses and buy at auction constantly, dealing with over a dozen of auction companies in two counties. We attended an estate sale held by Robert E. Martin and Sons today. I bid on every piece of furniture that was for sale up to a point when I needed my wife to start bidding in my place. While trying to bid, my wife was told by the auctioneer that he would "get to her later" and continued taking bids from his regular buyers. After he had obtained as high a bid as his buddies were going to give him he looked at my wife and said, "now it's your turn.

That was the point in the sale where we paid our bill and walked out.

Auctioneers who do this type of shady thing cost their consignors money because regular buyers talk to each other and when an auction company gets a reputation for being shady, people with thousands of dollars to spend stop attending their sales.



So yes I would tell my best friend and anyone else who asked, do not deal with this company.
