I have been going in with a group of around 10-20 people one to two times a week now for about a month. We were always quiet and repectful to other guests, cleaned up after ourselves, and tipped well.



Last night we had about 22 people for a late dinner/fellowship around 9pm. For those of you who know, Dennys has a $2/$4/$6/$8 menu which is great for us! When we showed up last night, we were stopped on the way in the door by a waitress, whom we had been served by many times, and informed that per management we were allow to come in unless we purchase a minimum of $25 of food per hour we are there. So we turned around and went to another diner up the street, and will be giving them out business twice a week from this point forward. We were very disappointed in the lack of customer service by this establishment. Obviously with the amount of people we had, we probably would have had well of $25 of food, but it was the principle of demanding a minimum on our group that was unheard of.



I can tell you that our group will no longer be going there, and that we will certainly let our friends and families know as well about this new "rule" they have in place.



I recommend the Perkins up the street on 87th. They have a wonderful wait staff, and are very accommodating, in fact, they even stayed open late for us as we ate and fellowshipped.

Perfect service even at 2:00 a.m. The waitress/ manager had many years of experience in handling a multitude of diverse and out of the ordinary orders.
