Wonderful down home cooking. Ample portion-sized plates with plenty of variety all cooked to perfection. Especially the gumbo, what comfort in a bowl! The waitstaff was courteous and friendly, the restaurant was clean and the owners were personable and interested to know if we as customers were satisfied. Even down to wishing us a "bless day" at the end of our meal.



Will visit as often as possible.

The food is 'down home' comfort food, staff is friendly and informative, the place is clean, and it is a place I can take my mom and she gives it a 'thumbs up' with no complaints! I have eaten there several times - both at lunch and at dinner - and every-thing I have ordered has been good. The main entree portions are generous. I also like the choice of daily specials. If you get there between about 11:30-12:30, however, they are REALLY wrapped up. We so needed a place like this!

Catfish is AMAZING I have never had catfish this good! Salad is loaded with all kinds of bacon bits, cheese, and things. This place goes over and beyond and does not nickel and dime you.

The restaurant is clean and the staff is friendly. If you're looking for some good ol' down to earth, home cooked food this is your place. The fried catfish is clean and not greesy like other places. Their sides are good too. They give you a good amount of food for a fair price, and that fits my bill. I would recomend this place to my friends.
