My wife and I dine at least once a week at The Depot and always have an excellent dining experience. The staff is friendly and the service is excellent. The food is expertly prepared by chefs that make this place more than a breakfast and lunch diner. We have tried virtually every entrée on their menu and most of their appetizers, and have never had anything I would not choose again. If you are visiting Leavenworth don't miss the opportunity to dine at this wonderful place.

I only gave this a 1 star because it wouldn't let me give it a 0. We eat out a lot and this restaurant was, by far, the worst experience ever. My potato was rotten...literally rotten which should have been clearly visable to the "chef." Service was non-existant. I asked for something (darn if I can't remember what it was!) but the server never brought it. Drinks were never refilled. We watched as other patrons left because they were not being served. When the busboy came to clear the nearby tables, I kid you not he looked like a homeless guy...which is fine, but he was really dirty. (Honestly, he was the nicest man in the place....just a bit dirty!) When it was time to pay the check, I had to go to the front and have the hostess find our waiter. We are here with the Army's CGSC and enjoy supporting many of the local businesses. This is one we WILL NOT be going to again, which is sad because the building itself is historical and could be made up well. Boo!

Great breakfast spot! Never eaten anything but the morning meal there.Try the "Super Chief" on Friday's for their special! Chicken Fried Steak, eggs, hasbrowns, and toast for $6.95.YUMMALICIOUS!!
