At the time we selected this community the management and community offered what we were looking for (access to a community room, gym, tanning bed, swimming pool, etc). The units were nice sized and well maintained and the manager was wonderful. Shortly after we moved in the Management company changed to Orion Property Group and the practices and policies started being changed without notices to the tenants. It was a battle every step of the way with them, fighting that if it was in my lease they had to honor it. Clearly, they had not even read the leases. I had to force them to honor the things that were in writing then the manager had a real attitude about it and towards me because of it, she was a nasty woman with a big attitude and no one in the complex liked her. Her solution to everything was to fine people if they didnt do what she said. She even decided to start running DNA on dog poop and sending a fine to the dog owners .. Im serious I still have the letter she sent out just for grins because it was so stupid. Maintenance became a joke and even worse when it snowed there was no shoveling done hardly at all. The truly sad part about the snow shoveling was that they had started targeting disabled, elderly and handicapped residents in order to lease units yet they could not clear the sidewalks so these people could safely leave their units when the weather was bad. My husband, at our expense, cleared and salted the walks by our building. When we finally moved out we had to fight them and threaten to sue them just to get our deposit back and then they had to keep (unjustly) a small part still just because it the slumlord way they do business. In the end my time was worth more than the few dollars they wanted to keep and my husband and I agreed to let it go. I have never lived in such a slum as these turned into and will never again. DO NOT RENT HERE.
