Recommended because food was fresh & prepared to order; staff was friendly, professional, & prompt w/ the service; typical of these types of Japanese restaurants, customers order @ the counter, and the plate is brought out to the table; one negative, the restaurant did not have low-sodium soy sauce available; but the steak & scallops I ordered were a good value; if I am ever in the Laurinburg NC area, I will stop by here for lunch or dinner; it was a clean, neat establishment; the scallops were large & succulent the steak was good quality, but a tad overdone for my taste; not the chef's fault, because I did not specify for it to be cooked medium rare.
