I typically avoid chain repair shops and dealers because I feel like they gouge you when they can. However, I was tire shopping online and Mr. Tire had one of the better deals after a Goodyear rebate. I reluctantly decided to give them a shot. I was pleasantly surprised, enough to come online and write a reivew - an action that I usually only do for poor service. Farrell at the desk was very pleasant to deal with and they did not try to pad the bill. I actually ended up with a better deal on the tires than they had online (and I thought that it was good). They told me that I needed new front brakes and rotars, but my local mechanic had already told me the same and I was trying to squeak a few more miles out of them. The pricing quoted on the brake job was less than quoted by my mechanic and it came with lifetime pads so I gave them go ahead. My car was ready timely and there were no surprises at check out. I plan to consider them for regular maintenance.
