Spring Mountain Sahara, an extension of Spring Valley Hospital, has been providing mental health and substance use disorder treatment to adolescents, adults and older adults in the Las Vegas, Nevada, area for over 20 years. Spring Mountain Sahara is primarily for adults age 55 and over. Sahara offers a continuum of acute, inpatient psychiatric care staffed by a multidisciplinary team specialized in the care of seniors. We treat patients who are struggling with or experiencing emotional, behavioral issues such as depression, abrupt behavior changes or thought disturbances that are significantly interfering with their daily life. Our Adolescent Intensive Outpatient and Adult Intensive Outpatient Programs are also run out of our Sahara location.
