They seem friendly but are not good vets. Took my 15 pound dog in for teeth cleaning. She was healthy, but not eating because of a bad tooth. I new of only one tooth needing pulling. They pulled 8. On top of the med to put her to sleep for teeth cleaning, they gave her antibiodoc and pain shots, then lyme, rabies, bordetella, DTap shots. She was still out of it when picked her up (dropped off 6:45 am and picked up 7:30 pm). They said not to worry, it may take a few days for her to snap out of it. If she coughs the next day it's normal. She never coughed she was just out of it. SHE DIED IN MY ARMS EARLY NEXT MORNING. All of the for a cost just under $1,000.00. They deny any wrong doing. IF YOU VALUE YOUR PET, DON'T TAKE THEM TO THIS ANIMAL HOSPITAL!!!

Great Place

So the last review here was from 2014, and I've been using this vet since I moved here in 2009 and have ZERO complaints. The rates are VERY reasonable, the Doctors and nurses have always treated my pets fairly and with relative quickness (short waiting times).

I have 3 dogs I have been taking there for 4 years.

The front desk girls are so rude I had to stop taking them there.

The vets however r very good doctors.

The receptionist and girls in front are

Cold

Snotty

Rude

Insensitive and it appears to b a bother to wait on you.

I would have continued to go there and give them my continued business but to get to vets is too awful a experience to go through.

Really worst experience with a veterinarian.

Even though I have been going here for a long time, they were not willing to help me get a good health certificate for my puppy, I have to travel for emergency and they didn't show the least desire to help me.Very dab people working in this hospital.Do NOT take your pets here, you will regret, they only care for money.

They care about the money

Can you say show me the money. That is what Pebble Maryland Animal Hospital is saying. My cat had a swollen paw and was limping. The cat is an indoor cat wasn't sure if he got a bite or got his paw stuck and broke it. They came back and said they couldn't see a bite mark and wanted to do x-rays. Of course it would cost me 272.00 dollars. So 272.00 dollars later I got: “A I don't know”, three pain pills and keep an eye on your cat for the next 3 days. My cat wasn't meowing in pain, so my question is, the vet couldn't feel my cats paw/leg for a brake? That’s right, that would of taking some intelligence and it wouldn’t have cost any money. I don’t have a problem paying for something but I thought the x-ray was based on a professional opinion. THEY JUST WANT YOUR MONEY.

Suspicious?

Doesn't it seem odd to anyone else that all the "good" reviews seem very similar to each other?

Alicia L must work at the hospital

It's pretty obvious Alicia must work at the hospital. She cannot be a paying customer. Not possible. I give Pebble Md a no star rating.

Good Old Days

I recently brought in my dog for his first sest of shots and it seems that the hospital is getting dirtier and the receptionists are not very friendly. I remember in the "old" days, when you came in the receptionists smiled, confirmed your information when you checked in the room and the rooms...well they have dried urine on the floors, hari balls and the sinks are "discusting". Also, I had to ask for a new puppy kit, which I was looked at like I was asking the recepitonist for "gold". The only reason I come back is for Dr. Hines, but after my last visit, I might have to change. What happened to the "Good Ole' Days"?

Unnecessary Treatment

Took my dog Bailey, as we had ran out of ear cream we had got from our previous vet in Wisconsin. We had cleaned her ears two days ago, and they were fine. Just needed some more Panalog cream. We've used it for years, and it works great.Ended up with a bill of $130+, with still no Panalog. They prescribed a cleaning solution for $25, ear drops for $25, a cytology for $25, and $40 just to say Hi!!People beware!!! This place is expensive, and do things that don't need to be done!!!

Things have changed

I have taken our two dogs to Pebble Maryland for years. Have always been concerned about the exams being done away from the exam rooms but now the entire facility is DIRTY, which makes me worry about the possibility of reusing instruments without sterilization, possibility of reusing needles. The janitorial service must have been let go. Cutting expenses? Same with instruments? New staff at the front desk, and all the vet associates names have been taken off the windows. Food for thought . . .

I would HIGHLY recommend this establishment!!!

I had to take my dog in to see Dr Diaz due to the mailman hit him and left. I can not tell you how upset, scared, and worried I was that my best friend was unable to use any of his body. We walked in, no apt, and they took us in like we had been there before. Unfortunatly they had to call a day later to tell me that my beloved pup passed away. With in a few days I had received a card in the mail from Dr. Diaz and some of the staff saying how sorry they were....GREAT people! A year, and new pup later, I had to take my new buddy up since he was not feeling himself. Turns out my dog has Pneumonia, and after a short stay is feeling back to normal. Appox 3 days later I have received a call from Dr Diaz himself asking how my Camshaft was doing. I cant tell you enough how much I appriciate the follow up call, and the personal service! I would HIGHLY recommend this establishment!!!

Love this place!

Love this place! Every time I go in, they are always friendly and cheerful. The clinic is always clean and orderly. The doctor always explains everything to me so that I understand, and makes sure I understand every charge that I am paying so there are no surprises at the register. And they always treat my pets with dignity and compassion. I would not go anywhere else!

Pebble Maryland Animal Hospital is Awful!

They neglected my dog and left him sitting in feces for 24 hours. Gave him back to me with feces dried up and caked on his legs and tail. Rude staff and terrible service. For the ridiculous amounts they charge, you'd think they would be a little nicer.

First time at thier office

Just Got back from a visit to Pebble Maryland Animal Hospital,

My Dr was Yolette Hines DVM. <<<<Amazing>>>>>, i went in for yearly shots and health advise, I was in and out in 20 minutes. I normally go to banfield at silverado ranch for my yearly boosters at a cost of $129, today i paid $49 for 4 shots DA2P, parvo, bordetella, and lyme, ( rabies was current) PLUS some travel meds for a cheap total of $48.57.

Front staff was very friendly, my dog was oddly calm with the staff, It made it less stressful for me as well as my dog. This is now the only Vet i will go to in town.

Give you the heads up, No office visit fee for vaccinations,

my shots were only $10 a piece, $11 for lyme.

the travel meds that i was given were cheaper than 1800petmeds.com ( great site)

Avoid Pebble Road Maryland Parkway Animal Hospital

We've used the boarding at Pebble Maryland Animal Hospital for two years. After boarding him three days recently, my husband picked up the dog and brought him home.At home, we noticed that he was unable to eat and that his mouth was all misshapen so we called and they said to bring him back in. The doctor who saw him said our dog's jaw was BROKEN but that it hadn't happened there. The tech said the dog was dropped off WITH the broken jaw (they take dogs with broken jaws without saying anything?) and that the dog had eaten well the whole time he was there (with a mouth that couldn't chew?).My husband asked the owner why we weren't told that the dog's jaw was broken once they noticed it. We would have been satisfied with an apology and an assurance that the dishonesty would be dealt with. Instead, the first things out of the staff's mouths were instant denials of fault! We do NOT recommend Pebble Road Maryland Parkway Animal Hospital.
