I had several friends interested in moving to this complex until they found out about the scorpion problems and the way they treat their residents. I had asked to break my lease prior to the new management coming in and was told I would have to pay a $930 bouy-out fee. I can understand this. However, I did not get that in writing and a week later they were fired and new people were brought in. My mother is in the moderate stages of dimentia and we are both drawing social security and small pensions. My neice had decided to buy a condo here for us to live in and relieve some of our debt. I was told that I would have to pay approximately $2900 buyout or for the rent for the next 3 months until my lease is up. They try to say that the apartment normally rents for $930/month ( I don't know what year that was), must have been before the recission) so I have to pay the difference in 670/month and 930/month for the 9 months I lived here. Either way it is going to cost us abetween 2 and 3,000 dollars. I will report everything that I can to the authorities about what they do/or do/t do here when it comes to abiding by the rules and regulations and I intend to contact the local TV channel about this. They do not even deserve one star.
