I called and spoke to dance 4 less and had them assure me that if I paid overnight shipping , $51.66, that my item would definitely make it to me overnight. I needed this for my daughter's dance pictures. Needless to say I did not receive this for 2 days. I emailed them and they responded , "YOU can call ups" not very professional!! But, I did...just to have UPS say what I had already been trying to explain to dance for less, if we refund you it will go to dance 4 less,they are the business and they should be the ones corresponding with us not the customer. So, I emailed and told them that and now they will not respond back. If I wanted 2 day shipping I could've paid half the price somewhere else. They were one of the only ones offering 1 day, and had gaurenteed me over the phone that I would receive this. I know they cannot control shipping, but UPS was very helpful and willing to refund if Dance 4 less would just respond and they will not. I have tried several times to email. Not to mention they were rude. I have a dance business, and know a lot of people in the dance world and will be letting everyone know how unprofessional they are. Be aware, if something goes wrong, and they need to refund you in anyway, you might as well forget them answering your calls or emails.

This place is awful!! I ordered shoes as a Christmas present. On Christmas the person who the shoes were for informed me that the shoes that I received were not the ones I ordered. We called the store & they said to ship them back to them & that they would refund my shipping cost & send me the correct shoes. After they received the shoes back they told me that the ones that I had ordered were not in stock and that all they could do was refund me. They refunded the cost of the shoes, but not what I had paid to receive the shoes in the first place or the return shipping. When I called to talk to them about the manager yelled at me saying that I was lucky to get the cost of the shoes refunded & that they would not refunded the shipping. Then he hung up on me! I will NEVER buy anything from them again & will tell everyone I know to stay away!! What awful customer service!

I have had nothing but great service since i started coming to Dance4less. All of the staff is very friendly and very accommodating. I have several shoes from this store and have even ordered on line and never had a problem. As with any shoes i might have to take a half size smaller or larger but they were always able to make an exchange for me without a problem ...

its sad that there are so many bad reviews with this company when every time i have came in or called they were more than willing to help or work with me on anything i asked for ....

good luck dance 4 less i hope these few people dont change ur way of service because i think u guys are GREAT!!!

Awful customer service, don't return email or calls. Don't waste your money here- you'll regret it. Owner is Edward Stone, but good luck trying to reach him when you have a problem (and you will!) because he's always "unavailable".

I'd give them a zero if possible. Terrible customer service, shipped the wrong product and then wouldn't credit my account when I returned the merchandise. Don't buy anything from these frauds.

If you want to pay full price ...

If you want to pay full price plus the shipping just to try on a pair of shoes that is not even your size, go ahead. I ordered a pair of shoes that is already a half size larger than my street shoes, but ALL my toes were on the floor when I tried the ones I got from Dance4Less. I returned them with a delivery confirmation, and sent them many emails and left many messages, all were ignored, no credit was issued. I had to dispute through the credit card, which issued me a credit, but the merchant charged my credit card again!!! Stay away from them, avoid them like plague!!

Do not order from the Dance 4 Less website this is not an honest merchant. They advertise merchandise on their website that is a good price for a well known good quality brand but what they actually send is simiar items of low quality made by a different manufactuerer. Then they charge you for the return shipment and say they will give credit to your charge card. The credit never goes through. Search the internet you will find many people who have had the same thing happen to them. A company can't make this many mistakes in shipping the wrong stuff all the time. Red flag!!!!

the worst customer service ever. Please do not shop here. there are many other companies that sell dancewear and will glady assist you if you have a problem. Dance4less will not. I should have read the reviews before I shopped there.

Watch out! I purchased a pair...

Watch out!

I purchased a pair of Go-Go Ballroom shoes. When I got them I tried them on and they were super cute. I decided to wear them Salsa Dancing that same night.. After one dance my feet began slipping pretty badly. the shoes stretched out a lot , the surface where your foot goes is super slippery, many threads were coming out all around the shoes. I attempted to dance another dance and then had to stop. I would have surely been hurt.



I emailed D4L explaining my dissatisfaction with the shoes, heard nothing. I printed the email and sent it with the shoes back to D4L. After one month, I still heard nothing. I called 6 times and asked them why I still had not heard and nothing. Finally I spoke to Jake who told me I would receive a credit. I thought I should get a refund for dangerous cheap shoes. I called to use my credit and the refund department said they would not give me any credit since the shoes were worn, they told me they were going to donate the shoes to charity. If I wanted them back I had to spend another $5 for shipping. What???????



The absolutely worst merchandise and service I have ever seen.

Do NOT order from Dance 4 Less. They sent me the wrong shoes and told me they always do that if the shoe you order is on back-order. Even though, I called to place my order and they told me that the shoes were not on back-order. I couldn't believe it! They said, "that 9 out of 10 people are ok with it?" Then they wanted me to pay to ship it back to them. I asked them why they didn't contact me in regards to the shoes they shipped me. They had my email, cell #, address, etc... Why would they think that they can just send me a completely different brand? The manager said, "Well, they look identical." WHAT! As I was asking him for a prepaid return slip (which he said they do not do) he told me to have a nice evening and he hung up on me.

Deserves less than1star. BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU has rated them with an F, 40 complaints in 18mo.

I ordered ballroom dance shoes for my husband for a professional dance competition in June. We paid for two day shipping as we needed them by Thursday. We received one pair of shoes we ordered with a note stating the other would arrive next week and were backordered. I called Dance4Less stating that we needed these shoes by the next day and asked why we were not told ahead of time that the shoes were backordered in order to give us the ability to order from another store. They stated that they could send the shoes out to the hotel for the next day. A much less expensive and lesser quality pair of shoes came to the house the next day and we nearly missed them. My husband had no choice but to wear these for his competition. After wearing them one time the heel came unglued. He had to continue wearing them for his professional competition the following evening and was nervous that he was going to trip the entire time. He did not wear them again.
