Coleman Law Associates
9708 Gilespie St, Las Vegas, NV 89183
Coleman Law Associates is a Professional Law Corporation which is, and has been for the past 32 years in Nevada and preceding that for many years in California. The firm is a 'Full Service Commercial and Consumer Law Firm'.
Coleman Law Associates specializes in debt restructuring for consumers, including dealing with and treating residential foreclosure problems, mitigating interest rates charged by lenders (some of whom are characterized as 'Predatory Lenders') and when possible, reducing the principal debt.
The foreclosure relief department at our Law Firm is comprised of a dedicated team of highly trained professionals, attorneys, underwriters, and paralegals in the mortgage and loan industry. Our team will work diligently with your lender and/or invoke Federal Court remedies to facilitate a solution that will fit your budget and goals.
Mortgage Modification/Mitigation
Our Attorney based Mortgage Mitigation program allows us to modify the Interest rate and in some cases lower the amount owed to the Lender. We use powerful laws such as Truth in Lending Act (TILA) and the Real Estate and Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA) to bring lenders to their senses. These laws MUST be followed and failure to do so can result in significant damages to the lender. So, naturally, they will be very amicable to working the loan out to more affordable terms to avoid costly litigation.
Federal Bailout Programs
Our Attorney based Mortgage Mitigation program allows us to analyze the Client's financial situation and determine if that individual qualifies for one of the Federal Bailout Programs. Whether it be the Hope for Homeowners (H4H) or any of the expected programs that are expected to be available in the first quarter of 2009 we can advise the homeowner on the best solution.
Mortgage Litigation
Our Attorneys have strategically devised and pioneered a variety of legal complaints using Federal Law to prevent the lender from foreclosing on your client's property. These lawsuits are based on both State and Federal consumer protection statutes and the civil code. Lenders have violated State and Federal law and have taken shortcuts in order to keep up with the rapid pace in funding and selling the loans made in the past five years.
Lien Stripping
The lien stripping program is available for individuals desiring to reorganize their debt using Federal Laws under Title 11 of the United States Code. The mortgage removal program can only be used in the context of reorganization, often referred to as Chapter 13. Homeowners find it much easier to save their home if they only have a first mortgage and no other payments.
Chapter 13 Reorganization
The Chapter 13 "Reorganization," allows your client's to consolidate all their debts into one low monthly payment. Chapter 13 is technically a Bankruptcy, but viewed at differently since it is not a "straight bankruptcy" which simply eliminates all debt without any payment whatsoever. The net result is that their mortgage is legally reinstated by Federal Court Order and they continue to make their normal mortgage payments.
Call us today to get started on the debt relief you deserve. We are open from 8:00 to 6:00 Monday-Friday. Saturday appointments are available upon request.
