Prices will be higher in a family owned store, especially in Wyoming. It's not a Wal Mart or Cabelas, and you have to make some money. The crew is generally on top of everything and if you watch these guys work, with people piled up in line, waiting for permits, seldom researching Wyoming hunting and fishing laws before purchasing so there are a ton of questions being asked as well as some folks who come up here, are a bit rude and ignorant on the matter. Hunting and fishing is a privelage, not a right, and these folks that provide gear that you very well will have trouble finding anywhere else near by, are super patient and give a super effort. Without WLFS, knowledge on hunting and fishing in the area would be reserved for locals, which would suit me, but I'd rather have a business that provides the service these people provide than just a Wal Mart or K Mart. Five stars for sure. Sorry you were not satisfied Jake, I've always been.

My advice to anyone is to not buy anything there. Rip off!

I moved away from Laramie almost 10yrs ago :( but everytime I go home to visit I have to visit The Fly Store! They always have an awsome selection of Wyoming and Fly Store apparel, and trinkets, and of course everything for your fishing needs! Small store charm and friendliness, always makes me happy to visit :)
