MPC Cashway is a locally owned family business with which I have done business with for over 40 years. They offer excellent service and value, and being a professional contractor, I would highly recommend them to fellow contractors as well as individual homeowners. They have a top notch staff and go out of their way to resolve any potential problem. Having read the negative review left by Rory C., I really wonder what the guy is sniffing? Why would someone special order that quantity of screws, use a few, and expect to return the rest? MPC Cashway will gladly return any non special order product that is returned in marketable condition...and even at that I have seen them go above and beyond. Absolutely totally unreasonable for Rory C. to expect ANY refund in this case and it is a total abuse of the rating system!

After spending over thirteen thousand dollars at MPC in the past 6 months, we had some special order screws that we wanted to return. The box contained 750 screws and we had 682 left. The cost of the box was $260. and we had the receipt.

Since they didn't stock these, they told me they weren't returnable. One of the owners offered $50. for the box or to "keep them and pay me when they sold".

The receipt doesn't say these were non-returnable. After spending that much with a company, I would think they could offer something significantly more fair than the $50. I was offered. I will not shop there again. In today's world we need to be aware of certain situations, so I feel it is my obligation to share this experience.
