Dr. Akright sensed something in my demeanor: tenseness. He said: "I am on your side in this." It was comforting to know. Of course he was, but he was in the office with me and felt my anxiety and responded. That is not the way things are always with medical care. He was caring for my eyes with the skill of a long-experienced doctor of optometry. Dr. Akright gave me all the tests and went further to dilate my eyes and probe for conditions he suspected were present but that he did not need to do for a new pair of glasses. Dr. Akright is a valuable asset to Wallace Opticians, a good place to get glasses from people who care for the person using them.
