At Southside we specialize in traditional American roots food like NC style Barbecue, Louisiana Cajun and Creole dishes and southern classics. Chef Sarah McClure creates weekly specials that supplement these traditional foods with modern eclectic cuisine learned in some of the best kitchens in the southeast. Examples of our weekly specials include hunters pasta with rabbit, peas, mushrooms, onions and basil in a creamy white wine sauce  or our trout romesco over red rice. Whenever possible our vegetables are seasonal and locally sourced from farmers in the Landrum area. Despite an emphasis on meat in most of our dishes we are always happy to accommodate dietary restrictions and create vegetarian, vegan and gluten free items for our guests.
