If I could give zero stars that still wouldn't be low enough. It has been FIVE months and they still can't get my partial to fit. Apparently my case is "difficult". They have taken so many impressions and once again I went tonight and it still does not fit! And the dentist I see is going on maternity leave so I need to be switched to a different dentist. This will be the 3rd dentist I will have seen now. I learned that my first dentist was no longer there WHEN I GOT TO THE OFFICE THE MORNING OF MY SURGERY!The customer service is terrible and I feel as if I'm just a number to them. I am 27 years old and I have to take my teeth out to eat which is so embarrassing when I am at a lunch meeting at work. I am a professional and the way I am being treated is barbaric. I do not understand how incompetent one office can be. The office blames the lab and the lab blames the office. While all long I am the one that has been suffering. Save yourselves the aggrevation and santity and go elsewhere!

Horrible experience. Multiple issues with their crowns resulting in many teeth having to be removed. Spent thousands already and need implants. Incorrect diagnosis from the start. Would not recommend or trust this company.

I am a Senior Citizen and after years of Dental neglect it took an emergency on a Sunday to get me to Smilebuilderz.

It was the best thing I ever did.

Dr. Anthony Skiados and his assistant Lauren Palm came to my rescue. They and the rest of their team are Amazing including Adam..

They are all compassionate and caring to my situation and after a while I relaxed and I knew I was in good hands. I am so happy I can truly Smile again and my experience was a great one......I am highly recommending SMILEBUILDERZ to everyone.

I just have to say that I have never, ever had a better experience at the dentist than I have had in my last two visit with you at Smile Builderz. You guys have an amazing, caring and extremely efficient team. Dr. Eagle, thank for removing all that destructive silver from my mouth. And thank you for putting my comfort absolutely first to preform the repair of 12 cavities.. Just have to say, that massage chair is the bomb, and I love having my own TV with remote in my room. You have made the atmosphere as comfortable as you possible could. :) Right down to the fashionable sunglasses to keep that bright light out of my face...all I can say is your extremely thoughtful. Alyssa, my teeth look perfect and brand new with the natural looking fillings. You are awesome!! And Jess, you are just sunshine in any room, and my smile is white again because of your diligence in deep cleaning them!! Also Jess, Thank you for the wonderful warm comforter for me when I was cold. 3 1/2 hours per visit over the last week...all I can do to thank you for your time with me..and to respect all your hard work is to promise to Brush, Floss, And visit you all on a regular basis. To top off my complete satisfaction with Smile Builders, I certainly can't forget those at the front desk, the ones who keep the patients moving...and treat us like we are all cared about...Steve Turpin and Riley, YOU ARE AWESOME! Builderz runs so smoothly, because of you and all your team at the front desks. Your teams beautiful smiles and warm greetings to calm, greet and comfort nervous people like me, who were ONCE terrified of the dentist, will keep people coming for the best care possible. I truly appreciate each and everyone of you. Thank you all for caring for me and my smile. It took me 15 years to nearly destroy it... It has literally been rebuilt in just two visits, thanks to all of you!!! YOU ARE AWESOME!!

Wow after reading what everyone has to say its kinda of scary to even think about going to smilebuilderz. I am so sorry to read all the wrongs that was done to each and everyone of you. The only bad thing that happened to me I had an appointment for 1:10 pm and they sent me a text saying it was at 4:10 I am so glad i called cause they were closed at 4 pm but they fixed it right away.

I heard about smilebuilderz from my niece and a good friend they had nothing but good things to say about them so I made an appointment for my youngest son he needed one very badly. (Broken tooth at the gum from a different dentist. who broke it doing a root canal.) Smilebuilderz were very kind and helpful I explain everything to them and I asked question. They gave me lots of information, and did not get upset with me for asking so many things. So I decided to make myself an appointment. The dentist was great. She too explained everything too me about the health of my teeth. I have not seen a dentist in almost five years cause of the way other dentist have treated me. Going here I feel like I am heard and my question are answered and I am not put down and I dont feel rushed. I have made more appointment for myself and both of my sons. As of this time I do not have anything bad to say about them. I am new I am sure there maybe sometime when I feel like I was mistreated to but till that day I am happy to find a dentist that will listen to me thanks smilebuilderz

Worst place to work and get dental work

Too overstaffed, the human resource ladies are rude. When I worked there 5 months ago, didnt sterilize instruments properly. Unsanitary place and some of the doctors don't even get all the decay out of your teeth! Just saying my experience.

This place is a joke!! I had an emergancy on Monday, called their Urgent Care and told them that my face was swollen and in pain, it was 7pm they closed at 8pm. I was told that they stop seeing pt's at 7pm because they close at 8pm. LOL!! WOW!! So I had to go to an actual Urgent Care and was at least able to start antibiotics, told them what SmileBuilderz told me and they laughed, and appologized for their unprofessionalism. I contacted as many Dentists in my area and non were able to see me asap, so I broke down and went to SmileBuilderz. I was rushed in making a decision and was given the incorrect bill amount. The Dentist decided not to give me stronger antibiotics as I was on them for 24 hours. I called Weds to see if I could be on something, and spoke to multiple people, and repeated myself over and over again to different people. Just rediculous. I finally get a call back saying that a Dr called in my prescription. I asked what the Dr prescribed, and it was the SAME meds I have been on, get this... PLUS AN EXTRA PAIN MED THAT I DID NOT REQUEST!! Seriously??!! I spoke to a Lauren and she was the only person with empathy, and tried to get a prescription that was not what I was already on.. Needless to say I didn't hear back from her. I called today which is now Thursday to cancell my furture appts, and it was her that answered the phone. Again, very empathetic, very nice, but she knew.. I was done with this place. It really set me off when they prescribed me the same exact meds I was on, PLUS a pain med that I didn't request, I told them I ONLY needed a stronger antibiotic... Anyway... good luck to anyone who dares to conduct business with these people..THEY ARE A FACTORY...

We are almost four years went ...

We are almost four years went to SmileBuilderz. First year is OK. Second year, after cleaning our teeth, they forgot to put fluoride. When we asked at the front desk after paying the bill for fluoride, one of the assistant yelled at us and just for the sake of duty she rubbed on the teeth and left.

On the other incident, my wife's resin filling was fell down after the treatment. Again it was fell down and when we approached them they did it freely but the shape of the gap filled with resin was uneven and ugly.

We usually book appointments every 3 months to clean the teeth. During second year onwards they recruited no-experience people and they made the mouth as a mortuary . ie they do not know how to clean and also used the silica based cleaning and that time she never used the water to clean the mouth.

Next time the trick was, she did scratches on the teeth and in a month we have noticed that the black spots starts to form under the gum. Now they asked to make an appointment for deep cleaning.

Finally, recent experience is still bad. Me and my wife went there for regular cleaning.

three days before one person called us to confirm t he appointment. We have also confirmed the payment for each. Then on the day of cleaning, morning one person called us and he said you also have two hole filling and pay $88. I declined and told him that I will talk with him during the appointment.

Once we went there, we told him the story that two calls received and there is something wrong. Now the third surprise for us, cleaning for each of us is 10 fold increase than the person told over the phone. They did not inform us very well in all occasions. A very worst place. There are still very bad stories are available where she paid $3000 for tooth surgery and during the surgery accidentally (!) a hole was made on the teeth. Now they are asking other couple of thousand dollars to fix it.

Please think twice before going to this hellbuilderz.

Smilebuilderz is the Wal Mart ...

Smilebuilderz is the Wal Mart of dentistry. Yes, it's inexpensive. Yes, it's convenient and open way more hours than traditional dentists in Lancaster County. However, you get what you pay for, and I got an awful experience. I originally went to their urgent care facility, because I'd been having terrible pains in my tooth and could not get in with my regular dentist. The urgent care was beautiful, clean, and the staff was thorough. I then needed to schedule a root canal with their endodontist on Crown Avenue. Where to start... the facility was filthy, the doctor and nurse were so unprofessional (they were actually complaining about their colleagues and another patient in front of me!), and my whole experience left me with a panic attack. I wanted to get out of my chair in the middle of the procedure! The nurse actually reassured me that the doctor was a REAL doctor... that is how unprofessional he was! I was disgusted... this is NOT the kind of care I am used to at all.

I highly recommend going to a smaller practice that caters to their individual patients' needs. It doesn't matter how inexpensive or convenient a place is; your health is worth your time and money!!

I have been going to this plac...

I have been going to this place since it opened. I have had some bad experiences. I went to get an extraction and the dentist almost broke my jaw trying to get the tooth out. He called in a colleague and he removed the tooth. I take my daughter to the dentist and they inform me I have $600 bill. I asked for what and was told it was for the extraction, my insurance did not cover due to it being a surgical removal. I never consented to a surgical extraction but I have to pay the bill, I do not think so. Then I go back to have my partial fixed. They said we will make you an early appointment so I can have it back later that day. Well that did not happen. I had to miss two days of work as a result of there inconsistency. So I go back again to have my partial fixed and guess what the same thing happened again. so I will be taking my business elsewhere. These people are horrible especially the front office staff. No respect and professionalism at all.

Went to Smilebuilderz for the ...

Went to Smilebuilderz for the first time today, my appointment was scheduled for 11:30 and I didn't get back till after 12. I was told they would do an Xray than they said I needed 18 Xray's, what in the world for? They told me the doctor would be in in a few minutes than since it was taking so long they asked me if I wanted to have my teeth cleaned after I was told I could not get them cleaned on the first visit because I am over 21. The lady cleaned my teeth and right before I was due to head out the doctor finally shows up. She proceeds to tell me she wants to remove my wisdom tooth because it is hitting my gums on the bottom, I told her no unless the tooth has to be pulled to leave it alone. Than she tells me that it has a bad cavity! Not just that one but suddenly I have more than 8 that need filled, but they are not going to do it in one visit, it will take three visits to fill them all. Needless to say I am not going back and will pay out of pocket for a second opinion.

After giving this place several visits, for me and my children I finally have had enough and have moved on to somewhere else. On more than one occasion I sat in the chair holding back tears because I could feel the work that was being done, although I expressed my pain it was not addressed, the dentist was very rough with me, Another dentist was fixing the fillings in my front teeth, which made me nervous and when I asked if they would look OK, the dentist told me that they would certainly look better than they did because they looked like s@@t before (exact words!) Lets not forget the hygienist who told my already insecure teenage son that maybe if he brushed his teeth more than once a day his breath would not stink, there is a way of addressing things and that was not the way! To top it all off I spent a year trying get all my cavities addressed but each time I went in they would try to get the insurance to pay for crowns that were not needed instead of addressing cavities....this is just like a factory, don't expect compassion, it's all about the money for them, In the two years of me going there with many bad experiences there was only one dentist I ever saw that had any compassion, and to get an appointment with him every time was impossible. It's funny how they treat you like you are beneath them if you’re not the perfect picture of dental health, but isn't that what keeps them in business?! They are definitely not following the code of ethics and oath they took in school, go somewhere else I promise you will be better off!

If I could give them 0 stars I...

If I could give them 0 stars I would. I have never written a review before but here it goes. I think all should be aware of this dentist. I went in and needed some work, a few fillings, possible wisdom tooth extraction. Waited in the waiting room for over an hour. They wouldn't do all my fillings because I "didn't eat breakfast" and they didn't want to numb both sides of my mouth. (However that is exactly what the appt was for.) Told me they could have me come back in 2 hours. I declined.

A few weeks later I had an appt with their surgeon for the wisdom tooth cons. He told me that it would cost $2000. And I needed to put down $1000 deposit. I declined. The next appt they told me that I would need 4 root canals. Costing me a total of about $10k.

I decided to check with another dentist and I am glad that I did. She pulled my wisdom tooth for $185. and the root canals, I don't need them. I need only simple fillings.

Not to mention all the other over charges that they try to sneak in to your bill.

Very, very unsatisfied. Wish I could tell everyone I know about how sneaky they are.

Dentistry is fair, poor cust svc, horrible overscheduling.

My family has been going to Smilebuilderz for years because it was the only dentist in the area that would take my insurance. And that is the only reason we went there. Yeah, it's nice being able to watch tv while getting worked on, but that doesn't nearly make up for numerous inconveniences and issues we've had with them. I usually don't do these review things, but I really can't stand this place. I'll try and keep this short, but no promises. Here are a few of the issues i've had;

They do shotty work, 1 of the 2 fillings i've had needed to be replaced twice and 2 of the 3 fillings for my wife needed to be replaced.

I had to miss an appt due to illnes (flu) and they said they'd rather have me come in anyway or I'd have to pay $50 cancellation fee. Ok, I can understand their policy, but I can't understand this; my wife was scheduled to have a filling replaced. her appt was for 7pm. She showed up, sat in the waiting room till 9pm, then finally someone informed her they couldn't get to her that night. They rescheduled her for a few days later at 7pm. This time they get her into a room by 745 and shoot her mouth several times with novacaine then leave her. at 840 they come back in and start drilling but the novacaine began wearing off and they couldn't proceed. They again told her they couldn't finish the work that night, not enough time. 2 nights, 6 hrs (including drive time) and nothing done for her broken filling. Yet they want to charge $50-$100 if you have to reschedule within 48 hrs. The latest incident was my wife, 3 kids (3, 5 and 12yrs old) and I go to smilebuilderz for appts for all three kids. Smilebuilderz left us a reminder message on our answering machine about have the appt. We show up, sit in the lobby for 30 minutes and then they tell us they accidentally cancelled all our appts and rescheduled other people in their time slots. They were very apologetic and said they would send us gift cards for the inconvenience. Needless to say, no gift cards, no nothing. This is just a few of the more notable incidents there. They suck. Good luck finding a dentist and if you choose smilebuilderz, I hope you have a better experience than us.
