I have never been very savvy when it comes to jewelry, it has always been something that has been more of my mothers cup of tea. For her birthday this year I brought her into Knot Awl Beads thinking that it was a jewelry shop, and I came to find that it was much more... The staff greeted us cheerily and promptly to our entry and asked if there was anything that they could help us find. When we realized that it was a shop for making jewelry I thought my mother would want to leave but she was thrilled with the idea of making her own pieces to wear. They host classes at YOUR convenience. This was wonderful for us because it is hard enough for our schedules to mesh anyways and not needing to schedule around yet another schedule was a huge relief. So we made an appointment to come in and sure enough when we did my mother had questions and worries which were patiently answered and reassured. My mother says that this was her best birthday yet; which speaks volumes because shes had 73!!
