Been going to Shults Express for two years and have been happy. Only place I know in NY that checks all fluids when doing an oil change. Something that is common practice in CA but evidently not NY (been to several other places that dont know what windshield wiper fluid, radiator, or brake fluid are (I say that because these are not routinely checked when you get an oil change in NY except at Shults). Prices are really good and so far they have watched my back.

The guys at Shults Express have been taking care of me and my family's vehicles for over a year now. I came across another person's review on here and had to add my own. Clearly things have changed a lot since four years ago when the last person wrote a review. They have gone out of their way to help us many times. I did not know that garages like this actually existed. It is so nice to be able to truly trust someone to help you and not take advantage of you. I really don't know what I would do without them!!

I took my car to Shults to have snow tires put on them. After waiting 3 hours to have them put on, I took my car home and was planning on driving to a family dinner an hour away the next day. When I woke up and went to my car, one of the tires was completely flat. The personel at Shults did not properly seal my new tire, so all night it sat flat, with studs in the tire and in the freezing cold.....all of these together can ruin a new tire. After getting a friend to drive me to my family's thanksgiving dinner I came back into town and called the next day to get the repair done by Shults. They took me in 2 days later because they were too busy. This time they properly sealed my tire and after 3 days without my car due to negligence on Shults behalf. Since then, the tires have been performing well and have not been flat again. My theory is to take time and do things right the first time so that there won't be any problems. Shults did take their time, 3 hours exactly to put on two snow tires but to do a poor job at that. They corrected the problem so I am not mad at them, but disappointed that a Tire and Lube store could not properly install a pair of tires.
