i was surprised that i had to make an appointment, but did so and we rearranged our saturday to get there on time only to find an empty showroom with many sign in sheets (and we did sign in). finally a salesman came in with another couple and told us to fill out a long sheet while we were waiting. at first i thought they must only want the kitchen diagrammed as requested on the phone. but when i saw that the form was requesting all sorts of information, i declined to fill it out at which point the salesman told us he could not give us a quote. then i asked when he would be ready to help us if i did fill it out and he said that the other couple was ahead of us. WHAT WAS THE POINT OF THE APPOINTMENT?? we left. however i will give them one star for having a nice showroom. i can't imagine what kind of service they can give if that is their sales attitude.

We recently remodeled our home and dealt with many different contractors and kitchen cabinet/granite dealers. We were referred to Benchmark after already making a counter-top purchase at Home Depot, which was cancelled after visiting this company. We heard very good things about Benchmark and were a little leery about using Home Depot's installation services. We visited their showroom on a Sat. morning with our daughters and were greeted with an impressive spread of breakfast treats and coffee. We left the kids in the play room while we browsed their extensive selection of granite slabs. After a few hours of browsing and going over prices, we went ahead with scheduling the template/measure and left a small deposit. They went out of their way to move ahead our install date upon request and treated us like gold the whole way through. They did a great job with the installation and followed up with taking care some minor issues. I highly recommend this company.

Decent company, however, customer service follow-up needs improvement.
