Uhder Rich's ownership, I have been happy with the feeders and reptiles I have purchased there. The manager knows her stuff, and as far as care and knowledge, blows doors on the now-closed Jurassic Pets, which I know like the back of my hand. The store looks good, it is clean, and I like that he sells used equipment. I have seen the good and the bad in the reptile industry, have owned many, and currently own nine reptiles, and am not a breeder. Although the young snakes are in small housings, young snakes generally do not like large housings until they get somewhat older.

Ok I only made this profile just to leave this comment. I was in there tonight for a mouse for my ball python and I went to go look at the snake display they have...to say the least I felt really uncomfortable looking at them because they had the snakes displayed in these TINY small see through boxes and can only fit a small water bowl in for height idea for you. And the snakes didn't have any bedding just a water bowl. And 2 inches to move around. Like are u fcking kidding me. Take better care of your animals!!!! I'm not going back to this place. I went to Jurassic pets instead, and I'm a loyal customer to them too. I just went to check out another place but was sadly disappointed...I left feeling sad :(

I came in here 1 time since they started all this drama. Everytime I would come in they would tell me alllll their drama when I just need a rat. I listened to this girl gloat on how much better they are blablahblah. I originally bought a snake from the former owner at the former store location before all this drama went down. Who cares you won your lawsuit. Little girls running a store. Drama. I am a real customer too. Get over yourselves. You sold my friend's son a sick fish for his bday. Thanks a ton. You stuff in the toilet stinks too. So glad your 4 blocks down too just to terrorize your customer base with your negativity. I love the new Jurassic Pets and their staff. 1 day they made a singular mistake. I had to go to Scales and Tails. My Aphrodite was hungry!!! Get over yourselves. You guys suck. I will hang with the positive Louisiana chick down the street. Hollllla.

As far as this other customer is concerned, I think inspecting what you are buying is your own personal responsibility. I found the staff quite helpful. The only negative thing I have to say is that they have way too many snakes. And are pretty over-priced as far as supplies go.

For christmas 2007 I got a ball python and a 40 gal tank for him from this store. He had mites all over his body. and the tank had a very small crack in it. Also they sold us the wrong set up for the light fixture, because the people that work there I guess are not educated enough in what they are doing. They would not let me exchange the light fixture with the 150 watt bulb cost me 50$ or the tank with the crack in it. that that cost me 120$. Now I cannot use either one of these items for my animal. the managers name is Jay and he is a real crook. So beware and if I were you i'd take your business else where
