Go elsewhere! I went in there today. Never ever have I been treated with such rudeness and disrespect as I was in THAT store. I wasn't greeted with an hello or how may I help you. I was greeted by an elderly gentleman and the store owner ranting about the current political situation. I found my books, I went up to pay and I had to listen to the gentleman go on and on expressing his political views. They were different than mine but I did not say anything. The storeowner conversed back and forth with him in agreement. Eventually she realized i was not joining their rantings and told him to stop talking as it's obvious our customer 'doesn't share the same view.' He continued to rant how he was going to move to Italy and on and on and on. She again told him that our customer doesn't share the same view. I was the only person in this store. He had the audacity to ask 'who'? She pointed to me. At that point I turned to him and said 'me' I don't share your political views. And I do think that you should move to Italy. He then went off on me. I'm not one to express my political views with people. We live in a free Democratic Society each of us is entitled to our own opinions and political views. That's what makes this country so great! He was so rude and pushed my buttons that I ended up stooping to his level and had a small argument with him. I should have left the store then and not completed my purchase. As I was walking out the door I asked the owner if the gentleman was an owner, she said no she was the owner and he was not an employee. At this point the gentleman heard me ask about him and he came rushing up to the front of the store at me yelling if I was talking about him. I told him yes I was, if he was the owner I would never ever do business there again. He began ranting at me again and how he is a volunteer. I said I would never do business there again. The owner did NOTHING to stop him nor apologize for either of there behavior. Rule Number 1: never ever talk politics or religion in front of customers. Rule Number 2 never argue with a customer. Rule # 3 apologize. So I recommend you not shop there, not because of their political views. But because customers should not be treated disrespectfully.

Rosemary's Baby is by far the best used bookstore I've ever been to.She carries a huge inventory of well organized books and books on tape. Rosemary's youngest daughter, Shelly is often there in Rosemary's place, and it is a great pleasure to see 2 generations of lovely, intelligent, well-read, and humorous women to talk to about books, authors, and any other subject you can imagine. I always walk out of the store feeling happier than when I walked in.Rosemary's Baby is one of the best hidden treasures in the Denver Metro area.

I am an avid reader and can always find books to read at Rosemary's. She is always helpful when I want a book on a particular subject. I enjoy chatting with Rosemary and find her very knowledgable on many subjects. My grandkids like to go with me and they found she also has a great selection of children's books.

As a high school teacher, I was concerned that a bookstore entitled Rosemary's Baby would be filled with witchcraft types. Imagine my surprise when I found every type of book, old and very new, plus a witty, knowlegeable owner. We pay half price for a book, then get half of that back when we return the book. She knows what she has and remembers your requests.

The books are plentiful and well organized, and the atmosphere is friendly and inviting. The owner, too, is fun and exceptionally welcoming and helpful to her customers. It's always a pleasure to browse, buy, or just sit down and read awhile in one of the comfortable chairs placed throughout this cozy bookstore.

Rosemary presides over a great bookstore/salon. Whether you're looking for the latest Robert B. Parker mystery or the Iliad, count on an extensive selection and a lively conversation with this erudite owner/operator.
