I suggested Sunny's for dinner tonight,so two friends and I went and we will never,ever go back. At one time this restaurant was a great place for either lunch or dinner. We could not believe how much it has changed. We should have known be the almost empty parking lot. My friends husband ordered the wings & ribs platter,the ribs were terrible,so dry they were stiff. He thought they may have been left from yesterday. The salad bar was not very fresh,pulled pork was very dry and corn muffins were on the raw side. We tell our waiter who said he was very sorry and I did not but any blame on him,and tipped 20%. We if there was a manager on site he/she never bothered to come to our table. I will not be shy about sharing my opinion with friends about Sonny's in Lakeland.

There isn't anything at Sonn;y's I don't like-ribs, chicken and all the sides. Their ribs fall off the bones and have just the right amount of seasoning. Have also used them for catering at our church.

This is a great family restaurant for the after church eaters, they love their barbecue in the south, they deliver,the baked beans are the best in the neighborhood. the service is fast and friendly.

This a very popular bar-b-q restruat is the neighborhood, I have tried their baked beans which were very good. However, I don't eat red meat so I have not had the ribs or sandwichs.
