Lake Zurich Fire and Rescue Department is a municipal department serving the Village of Lake Zurich in Illinois, as well as surrounding rural areas known as the Lake Zurich Rural Fire Protection District. The department s staff comprises more than 30 full-time fire fighters and paramedics, chief, deputy chief, training captain, shift captains, lieutenants, assistant fire marshal, fire inspectors and secretaries. It offers fire suppression, emergency medical, fire prevention bureau and public education services. The department operates vehicles, including engines with 1,000 gallons of water each, squad truck with rescue equipment and air bank, brush fire truck, rescue boats, paramedics-level ambulances, command vehicle, and bureau and staff vehicles.
