Aspen Insurance Agency was Boydâ??s solution to a gap which Robert felt needed closing. In 1995 he founded Aspen as he realized that there was a better way to provide insurance to the community while also educating the population at large. Aspen Insurance Agency began as a start up Independent agency in Ronkonkoma, NY. Initially the business had no customers and no company contracts, however this soon changed. Customers quickly responded to Robert Boydâ??s ideas about selling insurance and appreciated his expertise in the insurance field. A trait that has distinguished Robert Boyd from his competitors has been his ability to communicate to his clients.
